Joymac care offers short-break and respite services
We are able to provide individuals with tailored short break and respite support, to give families an opportunity for a break, whilst at the same time providing a supportive environment for individuals and achieving positive outcomes. Support is given on an individual need basis, with staff and support allocated accordingly. Each individual is assessed and a care plan created to meet that person’s needs during their stay.
If you are looking on behalf of your local authority, or if you have been awarded a personal budget, we can work closely with you, your families and your local authority to find the best environment to meet your needs.
Support From Home
We also offer short break support through our Outreach team. They can come into the home to support an individual whilst their carers have a break. Alternatively, our team can support the individual to take part in community activities, leaving the carers to enjoy a short break at home.
We are able to take referrals from local authorities, or by arrangement with individual families. To find out more or make arrangements to visit or use these services please contact our managers.
